Paralegal Office Administrator

Paralegal will have knowledge and notable experience related to trust and estates, real estate, and corporate law. Some litigation experience is preferred. He/she should thrive in the fast paced, deadline-driven, multi-faceted environment of a boutique law firm, and will closely assist senior counsel in reviewing and drafting legal and business documents.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Research and collect information from designated business units, such as ledgers and personal records

Communicate regularly with senior counsel resolving legal issues and disputes.

Investigate internal factual claims

Review, analyze and create legal documentation, including agreements, correspondence, and reports

Assist senior counsel in communicating with counsel in other firms

Plan and manage other projects as assigned

Perform preliminary legal research

Document review
-
New client intake
-
Liaise and correspond with insurance adjusters

Invoice tracking and processing

Handle heavy correspondence and drafting

Search databases and other sources to locate files, agreements, and other information

General administrative assistance and support

Track deadlines for contracts and other agreements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Level of Formal Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Area of Study: Law
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Ability to act with a high degree of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Comprehensive computer skills (Microsoft Office including Excel, Westlaw, …)
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
- Native level of Spanish and English, other languages a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
